Specialty: 5.37.03.07 Statistics

Qualification: Statistician

This specialty is taught in secondary vocational
educational institutions in accordance with the State Classifier of Specialties
of Secondary Vocational Education of Turkmenistan in the specialty “Statistics”.

In the trade and cooperative school, specialists are
taught the basics of statistics in our country, international standards,
methodological rules of the system of national accounts, directions of modeling
economic data, features of preparation, collection, generalization, analysis of
data, their presentation in diagrams using advanced technological methods,
methods of compiling statistical tables corresponding to the content of data,
statistical reports and the basics of their compilation, presentation and
implementation of statistical work using computer programs,  diversification and innovative methods.

Specialists who have completed this direction
can work in the national economic complex of our country, including in all
branches of trade, at enterprises, in medical institutions as statisticians, statisticians-financiers,
statisticians-analysts, statisticians-breeders, statisticians-methodologists,
statisticians-economists, specialists in the collection, generalization,
analysis and forecasting of statistical data.
